Last Saturday the Treefrog team had a smashing time at the Orlando ADDY Awards. We got to mix and mingle with some of the most talented people in the advertising industry. Even though we already knew who won, it was great to join in the celebrations and cheering. The theme for this year was retro video games. The tables each had little arcades filled with candy on them for the guests. Also, as each award was presented fun retro video game music played, which was a great touch. As the year comes to a close and we've exchanged our gifts and holiday best wishes, we want to pause a moment and reflect on the time that's passed. Every year around this time, you hear people sigh and say to themselves, "Where has the year gone?" We are no different. Our fourteenth year of the twenty first century was as fleeting and as lively as anyone else's. In January, we moved into our new office and kicked off the year immediately in high gear. The month of February means only one thing for the team at Treefrog Cinegraphix: it's ADDY® time! The ADDY's - now known as The American Advertising Awards - are the awards program created by the American Advertising Federation to honor those who excel within the advertising profession. It is a three tiered program beginning locally, to be followed by district awards, and culminating at the national level. It's been an interesting year of opportunities and challenges for the Treefrog Cinegraphix crew. Our team expanded, opening new avenues for our marketing services, while also creating a slight spatial issue in our current home office location. We found our plate full most of the year, at times even overflowing, resulting in many late nights with rushed heartbeats and sweaty palms as our hands sped over our keyboards clicking and clacking in a rush to meet deadlines.
